We recognize that this is a different pay schedule than the one you had with CHS/Lake Norman. To minimize any impact to your income and help bridge the gap in pay, Duke will provide a $1,000 pay supplement to full-time and part-time employees in the first paycheck. PRN staff will receive a $200 supplemental payment.
The one-time $1,000 supplement for full-time and part-time employees and $200 supplement for PRNs will be in the April 18 paycheck for nonexempt employees and the April 25 paycheck for exempt employees.
For nonexempt employees, the “full first premium” supplement will be paid in the April 18 paycheck and will cover April medical April and May dental and April and May vision. Employees may also receive the medical “delta” supplement to offset the cost of medical in this paycheck that would continue until November. Starting May 16, nonexempt employees will receive their combined “delta” supplement for medical, dental and vision.
For exempt employees, the “full first premium” supplement will be paid in April 25 paycheck and will cover April medical, dental and vision. Also in April, exempt employees will receive the combined “delta supplement” for medical, dental and vision. The delta supplement will continue until November.
